Darren O’Shaughnessy, better know by his pen name, Darren Shan was born in London in 1972. On his official site ( darrenshan.com) his bio quips that the hospital in which he was born was situated “directly across the river from the Houses of Parliament in Westminster, which may explain his fascination with evil bloodsuckers”
Though born in London, at the age of six Darren moved to Limerick, with his parents and younger brother, and has lived here ever since.
Shan, author of international bestselling series The Saga of Darren Shan and The Demonata, will launch his new book in his home town of Limerick on the books publication day, 26th April 2012 in the Belltable Arts Center at 7pm.
Darren’s talk will include a Q&A session and will be followed by a booksigning. This will be THE ONLY PUBLIC SHAN EVENT IN IRELAND on this tour and is not to be missed!
